Before Hot 97.5 put Atlanta on the radio map. Before So So Def would define an era of music. Before any of it — there was a Durham kid who came to this city, paid his dues on the AUC campus circuit, and ended up on stage with Michael Jackson. His name is DJ NABS, and Atlanta put him there.
