A homecoming headline set, an on-air reunion with an old DJ partner, a new Southern Brothas single, and a free Halloween block party in downtown Durham

Long before the Dangerous World Tour, DJ NABS was a kid from Durham in a band uniform on the campus of North Carolina Central University.
This month he returns to the nest. The NCCU Alumni Association presents The Legend DJ NABS Mixtape '26 Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel Raleigh-Durham Airport at Research Triangle Park. The…

Thirty years In the Lab, a debut album that reads like a family tree, and a first Old Skool Sundays at Spaceman built to honor the DJs who made Old Atlanta — beginning August 16.

August 11, 2026 – The date August 11 has always belonged to the culture. It’s the day, in 1973, that a back-to-school party in the Bronx lit the fuse on hip-hop.
